The Pastrami Shop

These sandwiches are delicious! My wife and I got the classic pastrami and pastrami Ruben. The bread is sooo good. Soft and have a little bit of chew that makes you want to take another bite every time. The slices of pastrami is a nice surprise in every bite. They have some thick slices and some small ones so the texture profile with the meat and bread is on point. I highly recommend this spot and they are very COVID safe.

This place has been on my radar for quite some time, but never made the trek there for one reason or another. However, my buddy and I made it a point to get here today as we were both craving some good Pastrami. Let me start right off the bat… this place looks like a total dive with an old school motif. It’s small, but don’t let that fool you. The food was amazing! Their menu is short, which I love because that usually means they do what they do best. My buddy and I split a Pastrami Rueben on a roll. Their sandwiches are huge! Everything was tasty, warm (hot actually), and had a perfect balance of meat, cheese, sauce, and sauerkraut. It came with a side of pickles and pickled peppers which were delicious. We did get an order of their potato wedges as well. Both my buddy and I are a bit critical when it comes to good pastrami, so I can assure you this isn’t some store bought meat sitting in a pan for hours on end. It was fresh, plus having been freshly heated on the bread… these guys know how to make a good sandwich.

Huge, stuffed to the brim, and so delicious you’ll wonder why you ever wasted calories on a “regular” deli. What makes it even better? The people. A nice Russian family owned legit pastrami spot. I absolutely loved their Rueben pastrami sandwich made with the homemade Russian sauce. The couple was very warm and welcoming. The portion sizes were more than enough. The prices were affordable. I miss this place and the couple as well. The husband was super personable. The good variety pop music played in the background. The quick quality food service. The sandwiches here are delicious and couple was always customer friendly to me. The best sandwich spot in Rocklin. Love, Light. Blessings, Peace, Community

The best pastrami shop in the greater Sacramento area! Very cozy family owned and run business that has been a reliable stop for me whenever I happen to be in the area. One of the full sandwiches could easily feed you twice or fill you for entire day!

Woah. I pulled in randomly off the road to try this place and it was legitimately delicious. I got the reuben sliders because the bread looked really good and they were great! Really surprising and the guy there was super nice.

Started with a random Google search for a pastrami sandwich and we stumbled along this hidden gem. Its become a new favorite. Very friendly people, they remember your face, and overall amazing. Not to mention the food is 10/10. Give it a chance!
